Is there a way to train an eye, or via the use of special glasses, to focus on a different point on the retina? I ask because my right eye's retina is burned and scarred so there is a black blob where I am trying to focus on, so I cannot read small letters from a distance for example, and when looking at lines of text, it seems the lines of text above and below warp around the centre point of where I am focusing. Is there a way therefore to try to focus on another point on the retina?
